Deno is joining Cloudflare! I’m super excited about this! I’ve been eyeing up celld since its first alpha release. Not gonna lie, this did take me by surprise. But it’s 1000% the right thing for Cloudflare & the wider developer community.

By far the best version of OpenCE, on the web, I’ve seen. It’s high resolution (unlike the macOS port I’ve been using), and it doesn’t even need the game assets to play. I wonder how long it’s gonna stay online. It’s nice coz it connects up with the game browser, so it can play with all the desktop clients.

The ChatGPT Dots call feature seems a little half baked. I called for a second time - this time I got through but he started speaking before the ringing stopped. It’s clear it responds with little phrases like “let me check that” as a filler. But it becomes obvious really quickly. It also can’t hang up itself. So I had to press the end call button like a peasant. This life is hard.

Tried calling my Dot. He didn’t pick up. I wonder what he’s up to.

So OpenAI launched “Dots” today… and I initially kinda wrote it off because it looked a bit useless/gimmicky. But uhm… idk what to say - this thing looks like it could be genuinely useful. And it has its own desktop environment?! Whaaaat?!

The stuff that the Halo Combat Evolved (original Xbox) decompilation team are working on is super cool. There are even a few people getting it running nicely in the browser using WebAssembly with multiplayer! Whaaaaat!?!
